Dr. Thomas Haney

Senior Pastor

Dr. Thomas Haney is our Senior Pastor. He has served in Barbados, West Indies; Illinois, Indiana and Arizona. He has planted two congregations: Indian Creek Christian Church in Indianapolis, Indiana and Desert Christian Fellowship in Phoenix, Arizona. Pastor Kathy Nielsen

Associate Pastor

Pastor Kathy Nielson has 30 plus years of experience as a Children’s Pastor, Preschool and Christian School Administrator.  She directs the DCF Church programs for elementary age children; oversees the daily administration of the church including weddings and funerals, serves as singles Pastor & Advisor to the Women’s Ministry. teaches a number of Bible Studies weekly.  Send an email to Pastor Kathy

Pastor Jason Fischer

Assistant Pastor & H.S./Transitions College

Jason has been a Youth Director for “Youth for Christ” in Wamego, KS and previously at Desert Christian Fellowship.  He has also served as the Associate/Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church of Page AZ.  Jason returns to Desert Christian Fellowship as the Assistant Minister to Dr. Haney and as the H.W. & College Transitions Youth Leader.  He and his wife Elizabeth have been married since 1997 they have two awesome kids.  Send an email to Jason

Louise Blevins

Adm. Secretary

Louise Blevins leads the Office TEAM, volunteer staff, and serves as Office Administrator.  She served as auditor and various management positions with Mountain Bell/USWest for 35 years, worked in banking for 10 years, and is currently serving as a Director for a local financial institution. Keith Maves

Traditional Worship Leader

Keith received a Bachelor’s degree in Music from the U of Ariz. and a Master’s degree in music from Ariz. State Univ.  He taught high school music and drama for 21 years.  He has served as music director/choir director for many years at several valley churches.  He currently works as a certified substitute teacher in the Glendale High School and Scottsdale Unified School Districts and as Worship Leader for the traditional service at DCF.  He and his wife Shirley have been married for 58 yrs. and have two grown children.

Bonifacio Ramirez

AV Director

Bonifacio Ramirez is a graduate of Latin American Bible Institute and serves as contemporary worship leader. He has served in various churches in Idaho, California and Arizona.  He comes with over 25 years of Pastoral/Music ministry that started at the age of 11.

“Worship is not something that you do on Sunday, it is the life you live everyday” he says. His desire for all who attend DCF is that Sunday morning worship would be an atmosphere of God’s presence that is contagious.  Send an email to Bono

 

Gus Vogelsang

Chorale & Production Director & Contemporary Worship Leader

Gus comes to DCF with several years of ministry experience. He served for 13 years playing in orchestras, singing in Choirs and special groups and leading drama and building sets in a large mega church and has for the Past eight years has been building sets and assisting in Drama and overseeing the Audio visual at an east valley Private Christian school / church . He has also served on staff as Minister of Music – evangelism – and Director of Christian education. Gus also has two grown children Joshua & Ariel.

Amy Prigmore

Director, Early Care and Education & Preschool/Nursery Ministries Leader

Amy attended Arizona State University where she completed her Bachelor of Arts in Education with a focus in Elementary Education in 2014. Upon graduating, Amy became certified to teach Elementary School and obtained an Early Childhood Endorsement, which certifies her to teach children birth through the age of 8. After leaving Arizona State University Amy went on to Glendale Community College and obtained a Certificate of Completion in Child and Family Organizations: Management and Administration in 2015. Amy has a passion for working with children of all ages and truly  believes that all children deserve equal access to quality care and education, where they can thrive, develop, and attain school readiness skills.  Send an email to Amy
